Join us for an online dance experience! Young dancers participate virtually in daily dance classes, art projects, creative assignments and lunch with friends in our weekly camp offerings.  Campers enrolled prior to March 16, 2020 – get your second camp week FREE.

In Fantastic Voyage, the group selects the journey: outer space, haunted house, mountains high or ocean deep.  In The Big Meow discover your inner cat. In Camp Cupcake conquer a sweet tooth.  Examine emotions through color in Splatter or explore the insect world of transformation in the Magic Butterfly. Enjoy a week or more of fun and creativity.

THE BIG MEOW

The Big Meow is the story of an ever-hopeful fluff-ball who desperately wants to belong to the band of neighborhood cats, but is ostracized for a “loud as a lion’s roar” meow.  The Big Meow is a story of hope, disappointment, courage and the need for belonging.  We explore these simple themes through movement, theater and visual art, and perform our story by the end of the week for family and friends.

Need-based Summer Scholarships are available for 10% – 40% off enrollment.  Scholarship Application

Volunteers
Volunteer for one week or more. This is a great way to gain community service hours. You will receive a letter of completion and certificate documenting your hours of service.  We welcome older adults as well as teens, age 15 and above.

REFUNDS
A $50 non-refundable registration fee is included in enrollment. Each summer camp is subject to enrollment minimum of 5 students. Extended Day is subject to an enrollment minimum of 3 students. Full refunds are issued if a camp is cancelled. (Camps may be exchanged up to 30 days prior to the start date. Missed camps may not be exchanged. No refunds after May 15, 2020.) All requests for refunds must be made in writing and sent to Jane Franklin Dance. In the event of illness we cannot offer a refund and we provide no make-up policy.
Due to the transition of in-person camps to online learning, we have accepted refund requests past the May 15 deadline to withdraw.  If your family is not able to participate in online camps you must request a refund (minus the registration fee) no later than June 15, 2020.  After June 15, 2020 if you wish to withdraw, you will:

  • Receive a credit to put toward a future Jane Franklin Dance camp-Winter/Spring Break or Summer 2021
  • You may Donate all or part of your tuition to Jane Franklin Dance

FEES
All purchases made through Jane Franklin Dance are subject to a transaction fee. This applies to all credit/debit transactions whether in person, online, or over the phone.

PARENT/GUARDIAN RESPONSIBILITIES
As per Arlington County requirements, all students 10 years old and younger must be escorted to and from the building by a parent or responsible adult, i.e. they may not be dropped off or picked up in the parking lot.  Enter the building from the back parking lot and sign in at the building monitor’s desk. Camp Packets include required media waiver and emergency contact forms for parents/guardians to sign and return to Jane Franklin Dance prior to camp start date.
