Zip Through a Tight Space

Join us at the lovely and spacious Rachel M. Schlesinger Concert Hall & Arts Center for a nice evening-a great mid-week break of performance, music and art.
‘Nested’ is inspired by Pam Rogers artwork in reference to nurturing.  Panels by photographer Rahshia Sawyer respond to the dancers movement echoing the fleeting and inevitable moments of change.  Music is performed live by Alice Weinreb and Truman Harris of Eclipse Chamber Orchestra.  ”Dilemma,” a trio danced by Amy Scaringe, Sean Miller and Leslie Noble, uses the circular motif of Joan Dreyer’s images.  ”To Talk of May Things” partners adults with children and borrows from Lewis Carroll’s “The Walrus and the Carpenter.”
There is live music by Brian Pagels and Ryan Walker of the band “Beanstalk Library” and new work performed by Forty+, the group of performers past the age of 40.
A Pop Up Art Exhibition in the forum features prominent visual artists, and the reception catering by Rocklands Barbeque & Grilling provides a light supper with wine & beer.  Free parking, courtesy of Jane Franklin Dance, is available in the Beauregard Garage.  A silent auction with merchandise, gift certificates, and tickets offers great deals for one half off/etc.  Whatever amount your contribution, it helps support programming for next season and for Capital Fringe this summer and successful flagship programs including: Forty+ projects, dance education and camp scholarships.
