Niche finds an ordinary and unremarkable couple.  They want to go places, meet people, and share their hidden talents.   Complacent, they think someone will notice; they are expecting someone to notice; but nobody notices and nobody says anything.
The neighbors are odd.  What can you expect from a shredded cheese specialist? Or from an assistant to “the guy in charge of the big door?” Innovative movement and dialogue provides a humorous twist. He gains success with ground breaking PowerPoint Presentations.  She has it ‘all under control,’ gives advice, and is featured in a magazine.  There are lots of things, more than they know what to do with.  Something has to give when you have bigger fish to fry. Recycled materials, contributed by UpCycle (an Alexandria-based creative reuse center) are transformed by an ‘old school’ overhead projector.  Homemade 2-D cut-outs and transparencies include PowerPoint-ish slides manipulated by hand and a brief shadow puppet sequence. Storyboard caricatures are drawn in real time by artist Susan Miranda.  Live music by Argentine guitarist Cristian Perez propels the players.
