Employment – SUMMER CAMP EDUCATORS
Please submit a letter of interest and resume.  Must be experienced and qualified dance educator, a professional familiar with basic dance concepts and classroom management.  Curriculum includes modern dance, visual art, performance preparation, reading.  Creative and reliable teachers only.  Extended hours am & pm; Core Camp 9 am – 3pm. Full Day Camp – July 15 – 19 & July 22 – 26 and Half Day Camp – Aug 5 – 9 & Aug 12 – 16.  You may apply to teach for one or more camps.  Please indicate availability.  Compensation hourly contract $20 – $25/hour.  Please inquire: info@janefranklin.com or 703-933-1111.

EmploymentDANCE 2013/14 Season
Seeking experienced performers fluent in collaborative work, strongly motivated and willing in rehearsal, improvisers who are dynamic and creative, and who are interested to perform in site specific work in non-traditional venues.  The company rehearses on Mondays from 4 pm – 8 pm and Thursdays from 8:00 am – 11:30 at 3700 S Four Mile Run Drive in Arlington.   Performances and dance education work are paid; there is a rehearsal stipend.  Willing to work with other employment obligations.  A one season/one project commitment is required for core company positions and per project work is frequently available.   Please contact Jane.  Send resume and head shot/photos.

Employment – ADMINISTRATIVE ASSOCIATE
This is a part-time hourly position for a minimum of 12 hours/wk.  No benefits, but work hours are flexible, and must take place at 3700 S Four Mile Run Drive, Arlington (accessible by bus) during business hours Mondays-Fridays. Join our Board of Directors
Do you have networking and organization skills? Would you like to be part of producing art on stage and in the community? We value your experience, wisdom and energy.
The Board of Directors works in coordination with the administrative staff to secure corporate sponsorship and individual giving. The minimum responsibilities for this position would be:
• network with the business community in Alexandria & Arlington;
• cultivate individual donors and promote individual giving;
• help with program planning and guidance for marketing and financial issues
Expected Time Commitment: The board meets every 6 weeks, normally on Tuesdays evenings at 7 pm.  Board members keep in touch via email and other communications between meetings.

Summer Camp Volunteers
Help with our summer camps for young children: Full Day Camp – July 15 – 19 & July 22 – 26 and Half Day Camp – Aug 5 – 9 & Aug 12 – 16.  No stipend but a great way to reach community service hour requirements.  You will receive a letter of completion and  certificate for documentation. We welcome older adults as well as teens. Jane Franklin Dance is a non-profit arts organization.
