Summer Camp Instructors
Teach summer camps for young children! Dates: July 18 – Aug 19 (9 am – 3 pm Mon-Fri; Ext. Day 3 pm – 5 pm).  Apply to teach for one week or more.  Requirements: Experience with youth programs, B.A. degree, teaching certificate or other professional experience as a dance educator; classroom management skills.  Compensation as a independent contractor hourly wage DOE.

Jane Franklin Dance Seeking Skilled Dancers 
We are seeking company dancers for coming productions.  Rehearsals take place on Mondays from 4 pm – 8 pm and Thursdays from 8:00 am – 11:30 at 3700 S Four Mile Run Drive in Arlington.  Some longer block rehearsals are scheduled on Mondays.   Performances are paid; there is an hourly rehearsal rate.  Commitment is per project or longer contract. Please contact to forward a resume and headshot/photos and to schedule an audition appt.

Administrative Assistant
This is an administrative hourly position open for 20 – 25 hours/wk, in coordination with the Artistic Director and Board of Directors.  Experience with dance, arts marketing, Microsoft Office, knowledge of graphic design and previous marketing experience is required.  Work hours are flexible, but most take place Mondays-Fridays at our office at 3700 S Four Mile Run Drive, Arlington (accessible by MetroBus and DASH bus –  there is free parking behind the building) .  Assistance is required for some performances or non-business day hours.  Compensation DOE and subject to board approval. Administrative-Associate-Job-Description

VOLUNTEER

Jump to it on the Board of Directors
We are seeking Board Members to help with our annual Benefit, and with productions in Arlington, Alexandria and Washington DC. We offer projects for older adults and classes in dance technique, family-friendly performances, camps for youth and unique partnerships with music, media, and visual artists.  If you have a desire to lead, have experience with event planning, or just want to start out, we welcome your participation

The Board of Directors:

• networks with business and non-profit organizations in Alexandria & Arlington;
• cultivates donors and promotes individual giving;
• aids in program planning and offers guidance in marketing and financial management

Expected Time Commitment: The board meets every 6 weeks on Tuesdays evenings at 7 pm at 3700 S Four Mile Run Drive in Arlington.  If you are interested, complete this Board of Directors fill-in Form (download; then open it in your files.  Fill it out and then return.  The information won’t ‘save’ if it is filled out just by opening) then email to janefranklindance@gmail.com.  Positions open immediately. Board-of-Directors-Packet

Volunteers
Help with camps for young children! Dates: July 18 – Aug 19. Volunteer for one week or more. This is a great way to gain community service hours, get in touch with innovative dance, assume a leadership role, and have a great time with fun and focused people. You will receive a letter of completion and certificate documenting your hours of service.  We welcome older adults as well as teens, age 15 and above.
