Employment – ADMINISTRATIVE ASSOCIATE (social media savvy and new ideas for Capital Fringe)
This is an administrative hourly position open for a minimum of 15 – 30 hours/wk.  You must have experience with dance, arts marketing, Microsoft Office, knowledge of graphic design and previous marketing experience.  Work hours are flexible, but most take place Mondays-Fridays at our office at 3700 S Four Mile Run Drive, Arlington (accessible by bus -  There is free parking behind the building) .  Assistance is required for some performances or non-business day hours.  Compensation DOE and subject to board approval. Employment – SUMMER CAMP DANCE EDUCATORS
Please submit a letter of interest and resume.  Must be experienced and qualified dance educator, a professional familiar with basic dance concepts, classroom management and working with children ages 5 – 7 years.  Please indicate availability for the weeks of July 14; July 21; July 28; Aug 4; Aug 11; Aug 18.  Compensation is as independent contractor $20/hour and applied to daily schedule from 9 am – 3 pm ($120/day).  Please inquire: info@janefranklin.com or 703-933-1111.

EmploymentDANCE 2014/15 Season and Capital Fringe Festival 2014  - AUDITION MAY 5 @ 5 PM at 3700 S Four Mile Run drive, Arlington.
Seeking experienced performers fluent in collaborative work, strongly motivated and willing in rehearsal, improvisers who are dynamic and creative, and who are interested to perform at Capital Fringe.  Rehearsals take place on Mondays from 4 pm – 8 pm and some Thursdays from 8:00 am – 11:30 at 3700 S Four Mile Run Drive in Arlington.   Performances are paid; there is a rehearsal stipend.  We are willing to make some adjustment for other employment obligations.  Commitment is required for these performance times at Lang Theatre, Atlas Performing Arts Center, Washington DC: July 10 1:30 – 3:40 pm (tech required); July 11, 6 pm; July 13, 4:15 pm; July 18, 6 pm; July 25, 7:45 pm; July 27, 6:15 pm .   Please contact Jane.  Send resume and head shot/photos.

VOLUNTEER
Be Active on the Board of Directors
We are seeking Board Members to provide guidance and prepare the organization to move forward.  The dance company offers projects for older adults and youth, dance education, family-friendly performances and unique partnerships with music, media, and visual artists
The Board of Directors works in coordination with the administrative staff to:
• network with business and non-profit organizations in Alexandria & Arlington;
• cultivate donors and promote individual giving;
• aid in program planning and guidance for marketing and financial issues

Capital Fringe
Marketing
We are looking for creative people with experience with dance, arts marketing and social networks; someone who is tech-savvy and has new ideas to get the word out and to make our production stand out at Fringe.  Work hours are flexible, but some take place at our office at 3700 S Four Mile Run Drive, Arlington (accessible by bus) during business hours Mondays-Fridays.
Costume Design & Construction
We are looking for a designer to coordinate and assist to help put clothes on our backs for Capital Fringe; nothing fancy, just greatly creative.  You must work with a budget for items gathered or purchased, but we want the perfect coordination of garments; and experienced hands for costume construction and alteration.

Summer Camp Volunteers
Help with dance camps for young children; July 14 – Aug 15. Volunteer for one week or assist with more than one camp. This is a great way to reach community service hour requirements, get in touch with innovative dance, and have a great time with fun and focused people. You will receive a letter of completion and certificate for documentation at your request. We welcome older adults as well as teens.
