Jane Franklin Dance builds performance repertory for older adults, ages Forty +. If you would like to enter into the engaging process of performance, we are seeking new dancers for upcoming performances:

Jan 29 & 30 at Artisphere, Arlington
Mar 6 for Atlas INTERSECTIONS Festival

Rehearsals – Tuesdays beginning Sept 14
from 1 pm – 3 pm at

Would you like to perform in “The Mouse of Amherst,” our new performance for children which debuts at Theatre on the Run, Oct 23 & 24? The show is about the mouse who forms a friendship with reclusive poet Emily Dickinson, and about the incredible creative spirit and delight with words in us all!

Show of Hands hosts Jane Franklin Dance for a family-friendly, community-engaging arts event in the heart of Del Ray. The event will include season previews, excerpts from our upcoming performance for children, artists’ talk-back, light buffet and a participatory art installation. Drop-in for a visit and stay a while to enjoy fun performance in a beautiful and inspirational space, and on the new patio outside.
