Just relax, take a deep breath............and hold it. ...........
at Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company for text based movement and dance by Jane Franklin Dance
The performance includes straight forward dance pieces not previously seen in DC:
Hand Hold, a duet performed to live music by Splash Ensemble and
Branch, danced to a string quartet
and to exhale that big breath with a little laughter:
Same Place at the Same Time, performed to a barbershop quartet
Leroy, with poetry by noted Washington DC author Reuben Jackson and music by Jonathan Matis
Sound Walk, danced to the sounds, voices and rhythms of community participation workshops
and video from Breaking Ground, a dance skateboard partnership.
